In RAF was a Wireless Operator / Air Gunner Post Office list - employed 11 Oct 1939, Barnsley Lived at Darley Grove, Worsborough Runnymede Memorial A member of the crew of Wellington X3755, airborne at 09:25 from Snaith to attack Essen. It was hit by Flak while flying at 700 feet, from a Flak ship moored off Den Helder and crashed in the sea near Kijkduin, Holland. |
